Digital public health has joined the Metropolitan Washington Public Health Association's Smokeless Social Media coalition http://smokelesssocialmedia.blogspot.com/ to ask Facebook to enforce its own rules to restrict youth access to tobacco on facebook pages. Hundreds of facebook pages that promote tobacco products have no restrictions on access by youth even though it is against the law to market tobacco products to youth under the age of 18. If you believe that Facebook needs to monitor such sites please join this coalition to free the Internet of tobacco products.
